Q. Do you have any guarantees?
A. Yes. If during a cruising day (7 A.M. to 7 P.M.) our vessel is out of commission for as long as 6 hours after notifying Par Yacht Charters, we will refund you for a full day which you may add to your vacation depending on your yachts availability.

Q. Are there discounts available?
A. Yes. We offer a 5% discount to those chartering for two or more weeks as well as returning clients from the previous year.

Q. Where do we start the charter?
A. The charter begins in Squalicum Harbor in the beautiful Pacific Northwest town of Bellingham, Washington.

Q. What is a typical "rental week"?
A. Typical week starts Friday returning on Thursday.

Q. Can I go anywhere with the yacht?
A. The amount of time you book your charter for will determine your boundaries. For one week charters, we request you stay within the San Juan and /or Gulf Islands. A two or more week charter will allow travel to Desolation Sound for example.

Q. How much experience do I need to operate a yacht?
A. You must have recent experience operating a similar size and type of vessel as the one you have chosen. Navigational experience in tidal waters is also recommended. Prior to departure on your charter cruise you must pass a vessel operation efficiency cruise in the bay with a Par Charter employee.

Par yacht charters also offers one on one instruction to aid those who do not meet our charter party qualifications. This instruction is designed to make you competent to operate the yacht of your choice. $180.00 per 2hour session.

Skippers are also available for those who just want to sit back and relax.

Q. Is someone else available to operate the yacht?
A. For those not interested in hands on cruising and just want to sit back and relax, we have various options available. Please call for more information.

Q. Do you provide ground transportation?
A. Par Yacht Charters will arrange your complimentary ground transportation from Bellingham Airport to your yacht or the lodging of your choice. Contact our office at 360-752-5754 for a list of lodging and accommodations.

Q. What's on the boat?
A. We stock the boat with dishes, towels, bedding, and even spa robes for your use. Before your charter we will send you a complete inventory list to help you plan for your trip.
